AN ORDINANCE BY COUNCILMEMBER NATALYN ARCHIBONG AS AMENDED BY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT/HUMAN SERVICES COMMITTEE TO AMEND THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE 2016 CITY OF ATLANTA COMPREHENSIVE DEVELOPMENT PLAN (CDP), SO AS TO DESIGNATE PROPERTIES AT 1988, 2010, 2059, 2062, AND 2066 SWAZEY DRIVE TO THE SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL LAND USE DESIGNATION; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

(CDP Public Hearing held 9/11/17.)

WHEREAS, the property owners of 1988, 2010, 2059, 2062, and 2066 Swazey Drive Decatur, Georgia 30032 have requested the properties be annexed from DeKalb County unincorporated to the corporate boundaries of the City of Atlanta; and

WHEREAS, the properties are improved with a single-family residential dwelling; and

WHEREAS,   the Office of Zoning & Development  recommends  that upon am1exation the properties be designated to the single-family residential (SFR) land use designation; and

WHEREAS,   the City Council finds that the SFR land use designation is the appropriate designation for the properties.

THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ATLANTA, GEORGIA HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1 That the 2016 City of Atlanta Comprehensive Development Plan (CDP) is hereby amended by changing the Land Use Element of said Plan so as to designate properties at 1988, 2010, 2059, 2062, and 2066 Swazey Drive, Decatur, Georgia 30032 to the single-family residential land use designation. Said Properties are more fully described in Exhibit "A" and delineated in Exhibit "B" which are hereby made a part of this Ordinance.

SECTION 2. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby

waived to the extent of the conflict.
