A RESOLUTION BY CITY UTILITIES COMMITTEE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO RENEWAL NO. 2 FOR FC-9045, IDENTITY VERIFICATION AND ASSESSMENT SERVICES WITH ONLINE INFORMATION SERVICES D.B.A. ONLINE UTILITY EXCHANGE, ON BEHALF OF THE DEPARTMENT OF WATERSHED MANAGEMENT, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS AND ZERO CENTS ($50,000.00); AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

WHEREAS, the City of Atlanta (“City”) authorized Special Procurement FC-9045, Identity Verification and Assessment Services (“Agreement”) with Online Utility Exchange, on behalf of the Department of Watershed Management, in an amount not to exceed Ninety-Nine Thousand, Nine Hundred Eighty-Six Dollars and Zero Cents ($99,986.00);

 

WHEREAS, the term of the Agreement is for one (1) year with two (2) one (1) year renewal options, effective November 16, 2016 through November 15, 2017, to be exercised at the City’s sole discretion;

 

WHEREAS, the City executed a ninety (90) day extension that extended the term of the Agreement to February 13, 2018;

 

WHEREAS, the City authorized Renewal No. 1 of the Agreement with a term of February 14, 2018 through February 13, 2019, for time only, pursuant to Resolution No. 18-R-3005;

 

WHEREAS, Online Utility Exchange continues to perform satisfactorily;

 

WHEREAS, the Chief Procurement Officer certifies that any organizational and personal relationships disclosed by the successful offeror have been procured in accordance with Atlanta City Code Section 2-1214 and that award of the contract is appropriate; and

 

WHEREAS, the Commissioner of the Department of Watershed Management and the Chief Procurement Officer recommend entering into Renewal No. 2 for FC-9045, Identity Verification and Assessment Services with Online Information Services d.b.a. Online Utility Exchange, on behalf of the Department of Watershed Management, in an amount not to exceed Fifty Thousand Dollars and Zero Cents ($50,000.00).

 

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ATLANTA, GEORGIA, HEREBY RESOLVES, that the Mayor, or her authorized designee, is authorized to enter into Renewal No. 2 for FC-9045, Identity Verification and Assessment Services with Online Information Services d.b.a. Online Utility Exchange, on behalf of the Department of Watershed Management, in an amount not to exceed Fifty Thousand Dollars and Zero Cents ($50,000.00);

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the term of Renewal No. 2 will be effective February 14, 2019 through February 13, 2020;

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Chief Procurement Officer in consultation with the City Attorney, is directed to prepare all appropriate documents for execution by the Mayor, or her authorized designee; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Renewal No. 2 will not become binding on the City and the City will incur no obligation or liability under it until it has been approved as to form by the City Attorney, executed by the Mayor, attested to by the Municipal Clerk and delivered to Online Information Services d.b.a. Online Utility Exchange;

 

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED, that all contracted work shall be charged to and paid from the Fund Department Organization and Account Number 5051 (Water and Wastewater Revenue Fund) 170503 (DWM Watershed Customer Billing) 5212001 (Consulting/Professional Services) 4410000 (Water Administration) COA.
