2.              Requested items from the Department of Watershed Management Liddell Equalization Facility Update:

a.              Councilmember Adrean requested the Department confirm how many spills have occurred since 2014. Also to define what constitutes a manhole spill? How are they tracked?

b.              Councilmember Shook requested the Department commit to addressing expectations discussed prior to next Quarter. Deputy Chief of Staff Katrina Taylor Parks stated the Department will provide a list of short term and long term solutions for Memorial Park at the February 23, 2016 meeting. (A Work Session was held March 9, 2016)

3.              Councilmember Sheperd requested Matt Malament provide the performance data for any 311 incoming calls for Code Enforcement.

4.              Councilmember Wan asked Commissioner Mendoza to provide a list of sidewalk repairs to include the dollar amounts. (The Department provided Sidewalk Maintenance and Repair Projects data - addresses, Council Districts, description, status, etc. This report did not include the dollar amounts.)

5.              Requested items from the Department of Public Works Quarterly Report:

a.              Councilmember Wan requested the budget associated with Positions on hold and Vacant Positions identified to be abolished (p. 3 )

b.              Councilmember Wan requested Commissioner Mendoza review contributing factors to the hiring process.  Commissioner will meet with Commissioner Yancy and report back to Committee.

c.              Councilmember Wan requested updating the Recycling Data tonnage to include CHARM statistics (pp. 13-15)

d.              Councilmember Wan requested the proposed FY17 savings from Managed Competition of Parts Management (p. 25)

e.              Councilmember Sheperd requested the Department provide how many tires the City and CHARM are collecting on an annual basis (the Department will include in their next Quarterly Report)

f.              Councilmember Martin requested how much funding the Department receives from the State of Georgia.

g.              Councilmember Dickens requested a map depicting illegal tire dumping locations (Should include type of location - park, abandoned subdivision, etc.).

 

6.              Councilmember Shook requested the Department of Watershed Management provide their in-house ability for plumbing services.

 

7.              Requested items from 16-R-3533 (Consent Order with Environmental Protection Division):

a.              Councilmember Wan requested the Department of Watershed Management provide data reflecting the itemized amount per event?

b.              Councilmember Shook requested the Department provide the total gallons of pollution released.
