AN ORDINANCE CORRECTING ORDINANCE 17-O-1668 (Z-17-87) WHICH WAS ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL ON NOVEMBER 20, 2017 AND APPROVED AS PER THE CITY CHARTER 2-403 ON NOVEMBER 29, 2017 WITHOUT SIGNATURE BY OPERATION OF LAW TO REZONE THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 225 AND 225 REAR ROGERS STREET, FOR THE PURPOSE OF CORRECTING THE GENERAL BOUNDARY DESCRIPTION. 

 

WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 17-O-1668 (Z-17-87) was adopted by the Atlanta City Council on November 20, 2017, and approved by the Mayor without signature by operation of law on November 29, 2017; and

 

WHEREAS, the Ordinance authorized property located at 225 AND 225 REAR ROGERS STREET, SE, to be rezoned from I-1 (Light Industrial) and I-2 (Heavy Industrial) to the Pratt-Pullman Landmark District (LD) zoning category; and

 

WHEREAS, Attachment A to 17-O-1668 included the correct “General Plat Map” but the incorrect “General Boundary Description”;

 

WHEREAS, the correct “General Plat Map” was presented to the Neighborhood Planning Unit, Zoning Review Board and Zoning Committee; and

 

WHEREAS, this legislation corrects Ordinance 17-O-1668 by correcting the “General Boundary Description” to align with the “General Plat Map” shown in Attachment A to 17-O-1668.

 

SECTION 1.   That Ordinance 17-O-1668 (Z-17-87) adopted by the City Council on November 20, 2017 and approved as per the City Charter 2-403 on November 29, 2017 without signature by operation of law to rezone the property located at 225 AND 225 REAR ROGERS STREET, SE, is hereby corrected to include the correct “General Boundary Description” as shown on Attachment A to this ordinance. 

 

SECTION 2.   That the maps referred to, now on file in the Office of the Municipal Clerk, be changed to conform the terms of this ordinance as hereby amended.

 

SECTION 3.  That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the terms of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
